A soldier from Tatarstan did not receive payments for participation in the SVO due to debts
A soldier from Tatarstan did not receive payments for participating in a special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine due to debts, reported in the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.
According to the department, the 48-year-old man had accumulated debt on loan payments. As a result, his accounts were frozen, and the soldier could not receive the payments he was entitled to by law for participating in the SVO.
The Russian repeatedly contacted the bailiff service with a request to suspend enforcement proceedings and lift the arrest from the account, but there was no response. Then the man contacted the prosecutor’s office.
As of today, the arrest from the SVO soldier’s bank account has been lifted, enforcement proceedings have been suspended, and the withheld money has been returned.
“According to the law, enforcement proceedings against individuals participating in a special military operation are subject to suspension,” the Prosecutor General’s Office explained.
Earlier in the Moscow region, a SVO participant fell into a coma, and when he woke up, he learned about eight loans issued in his name. They were taken out by the serviceman’s wife.
