The Lebanese Ministry of Health also announced that 14 people were killed and more than 450 injured in wireless device explosions in various areas of Lebanon.
Several explosions rocked a funeral site in Beirut for three Hezbollah members and a child killed in a pager explosion on Tuesday.
Hezbollah officials and state media said explosions had hit Beirut and other parts of Lebanon in what appeared to be a second wave of electronic device bombings.
The explosions came a day after an attack attributed to Israel targeted communications equipment used by Hezbollah, killing at least 12 people and wounding about 3,000 others.
Israel threatens
Stated Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Herzi Halevi That Israel has made plans to launch additional attacks against Hezbollah, and that it is prepared to bomb.
“We have many capabilities that we have not yet activated,” Halevi said after new operational plans were approved by Israel’s Northern Command on Wednesday.
He added: “Every time we operate at a certain stage, the next two stages are prepared with force. And at each stage, the price for Hezbollah must be high.”
For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced a “new phase” in the war, as Israel shifts its focus to the northern front against Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.
Speaking to Israeli forces on Wednesday, Yoav Galant did not address the mysterious explosions that occurred in electronic devices in Lebanon.
But he praised the Israeli army and security services, saying, “The results are very impressive.”
Israel has yet to confirm or deny responsibility for the pager and wireless device bombings.
