Radios from Japanese company ICOM that exploded in Lebanon found on sale in Russia
The radios from the Japanese company ICOM that exploded all over Lebanon were found for sale on Russian Internet services for posting advertisements, Lenta.ru has found out.
There were several ads on popular platforms for the sale of radios of the model icom v82 from ICOM. According to the ads, devices of this model will cost up to 10 thousand rubles.
Radios of the same model had previously exploded in Lebanon. They were preliminarily equipped with explosives in the same way as the pagers.
On September 17, multiple pager explosions occurred in several areas of Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of Beirut. The Palestinian movement Hamas said it blamed Israel for the pager explosions in Lebanon.
Later it became known that, in addition to pagers, ICOM radios, laptops, tape recorders and other gadgets began to explode in Lebanon. The Israeli publication The Jerusalem Post noted that the first reports of more detonations appeared during the farewell ceremony for four Hezbollah members.
