Bakalchuk said after the shooting at Wildberries that his people did not have weapons
The shooting took place during the day near the Wildberries head office not far from the Kremlin. As a result, several people were injured, including police officers. In addition, two people were reported dead – they were security guards at the company’s office.
According to official data, two people were injured, but Wildberries founder Tatyana Bakalchuk reportedthat three people were injured. According to other unofficial data, more than three people were injured, including at least one policeman.
Among the wounded turned out to be MMA fighters Abubakar Mestoev, Umar Chichaev and Rashid Kodzev. Chichaev is a world champion in taekwondo, and Mestoev is a champion of Russia in all-style karate, vice-champion of Europe in karate.
UPD: At about 17:30, the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) officially announced that two people were killed and seven were injured as a result of the events at the Wildberries headquarters. Among the injured were two law enforcement officers. A criminal case was opened under articles on murder, attempted murder, and encroachment on the lives of law enforcement officers.

According to the founder’s husband, he and his employees came to the office for another round of negotiations on financing the construction of new warehouses for the company. However, at the entrance, they met “strange people in civilian clothes” who refused to let Bakalchuk and his companions into the building.
According to him, the “armed provocation” was organized by these people. He noted that he “was going to peace talks,” but “at some point during the conflict, shots were fired.” As a result, one of his colleagues was wounded. “My people were not armed, we were protected by police officers. The first shots were fired from inside the building, through the glass of the Wildberries office,” reported He.
