Presight announced that it has won a contract awarded by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan, with the aim of enhancing the digital transformation process in the healthcare sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In a press release today, Presight said that under the contract, it will be responsible for transferring and disseminating Abu Dhabi Health Data Services solutions, part of the M42 Group, which played a role in upgrading the capabilities of the healthcare system in Abu Dhabi, to ensure accelerating the pace of adopting innovative technologies and data strategies to improve the outcomes of the healthcare system in Jordan.
Presight will implement its advanced solutions and extract valuable information from the collected and analyzed data, using its big data analytics capabilities.
Among other projects, key terms of the contract include conducting a comprehensive study and developing a roadmap for digital healthcare, creating an advanced health information exchange strategy and establishing a next-generation virtual hospital, which will serve as a command and control centre for essential services such as tele-ICU, tele-dialysis and tele-radiology.
Through this initiative, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan seeks to record data from the majority of medical visits, as a step towards the complete digital transformation of the healthcare landscape.
This is expected to improve resource efficiency, enhance quality of care, streamline healthcare costs, and provide easy access to critical medical services across the Kingdom.
His Excellency Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, Minister of Health in Jordan, stressed that digital transformation in the health sector is not just an option, but has become an urgent necessity to achieve national goals in providing comprehensive health care.
He said: “This initiative is pivotal to developing the health sector and enhancing its ability to keep pace with global developments. Through this initiative, we will work to develop a comprehensive strategy and a timetable for future health sector initiatives, in a way that serves the interests of the Jordanian people.”
“AI-led technologies are revolutionizing the healthcare sector and transforming how we approach health and wellness.
