Belik claims another trick over Scholz’s words about Ukraine negotiations
State Duma deputy, member of the International Affairs Committee Dmitry Belik responded to the words of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the right moment for peace talks with Russia on Ukraine. He considered this statement to be another trick.
According to Belik, Scholz is a “trial balloon” launched by Western countries towards Moscow to “test the waters” for dialogue and then demand concessions. The deputy stressed that this path is unacceptable for Russia.
The West does not need negotiations, but concessions to Russia regarding Ukraine. American corporations earn billions on arms supplies, Europe today is a vassal of the American feudal lord, it does not even dare to open its mouth
Belik is confident that the only country interested in negotiations is Ukraine itself, but “its word means nothing to the West.”
Scholz believes that the moment has come for negotiations in the conflict in Ukraine
On Sunday, September 8, the German Chancellor said that the moment had come for negotiations in the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, it was time to discuss the transition from military action to peace.
In my opinion, now is the time to discuss how we can move from this military situation to peace faster than seems realistic at the moment.
Scholz called for a new conference with Russia’s participation and also announced that Germany would continue to provide assistance to Kyiv.
According to media reports, the Chancellor is preparing his own plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, which should become a new version of the Minsk agreements reached in 2015. The Italian newspaper La Repubblica is confident that Scholz intends to go down in history as the “chancellor of peace.”
It is noted that the politician wants to conclude a compromise agreement that allows for the transfer of territories to Moscow.
