Supermodel Kate Moss says she was accused of promoting anorexia
British supermodel Kate Moss has spoken about bullying early in her career. The publication cites a relevant excerpt from a Disney+ documentary Daily Mail.
The model said people would approach her on the street and accuse her of promoting eating disorders. “Parents would come up to me and say, ‘My daughter has anorexia.’ It was horrible,” she said.
Moss suggested that the reaction from people was because they weren’t used to seeing thin people. “I think people weren’t used to seeing thin models back then. If I had been curvy, it wouldn’t have been a problem. My body was just different to the people who had walked the runway before me,” she explained.
In June, fans suspected Kate Moss of using illegal substances.
