Denmark claimed their second successive win in the UEFA Nations League, beating Serbia 2-0 in Copenhagen, in Group 4 of the first level.
Albert Grønbaek scored his first international goal (36), before Yussuf Poulsen added the second goal with a wonderful scissors kick (61), and Denmark raised its score to 6 points.
Denmark have proven their strength on home soil, remaining unbeaten in their last 13 matches, including their opening-round win over Switzerland in Copenhagen.
The Danish and Serbian teams tied 0-0 in the group stage of the last European Cup hosted by Germany this summer.
Denmark’s next test will be their toughest, when they visit European champions Spain in Murcia on October 12 in the third round, before hosting them a month later in Copenhagen.
The first and second place teams from each of the four groups qualify for the quarter-finals, while the third-place teams play a play-off with the second-place teams from the second-level groups, while the last-place teams are relegated to the second level.
