For some months now there has been negative news regarding the developer studio Toys for Bobas it was said that they already had the much requested one in development Crash Bandicoot 5which was cancelled for reasons that were never specified by either Activision or anyone else. And now that the future of the franchise feels uncertain, more information has been revealed, which makes sense that the project has become just a concept that fans of the series will probably never see again.
Through a new video where even conceptual art is shown, it is revealed that after the fourth canonical release of the saga, the next step was already on paper, being a direct sequel that this time would have special guests in the gameplay, and with that it clearly speaks of Spyro The Dragon. However, Activision was prioritizing the theme of games as a service, resulting in Crash Team Rumblea moba-style title that didn’t quite work out.

It is worth mentioning that they are creating a game with Xboxand if many notice on their website, it can be seen that there is a tiki mask present, similar to Aku Aku from Crash Bandicootto which is added that the predominant color is purple.
