Businessman arrived late at Paulista, said he was barred from the sound car and was criticized by the pastor, who organized the event
Pastor Silas Malafaia, organizer of the event that brought together Bolsonaro supporters on Paulista Avenue this Saturday (September 7, 2024), denied that he had blocked the candidate for Mayor of São Paulo Pablo Marcal (PRTB) from the sound car during the event. He said that the businessman “is a liar” and went to the event to do “courteous“.
“I was closing the event when he arrived. The girl from Novo [Marina Helena] went up, the mayor [Ricardo Nunes] went up, but what does he want? He likes to be the center of attention. […] He wanted to go up after it was over for what? To take advantage and take selfies, to make cuts. This guy wants to deceive people. He is a liar.” said Malafaia to Poder360. The pastor also mentioned that Marçal would be afraid of STF minister Alexandre de Moraes:
“Why didn’t you arrive on time for the event? You were afraid of Alexandre de Moraes, is that it? […] He arrived after the announcer had finished, and he just kept playing music for people to leave, that thing, but it had already finished.”.
DIVIDES BOLSONARISTS
Marçal arrived late at the event, after Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) speech, and he said who was prevented from having access to the sound car where the former president was. The fact caused discomfort among some protesters, who called him “coward”.

Before that, however, he was mobbed by some of the protesters, who took selfies. The former coach’s progress in the race for Mayor of São Paulo divides Bolsonaro’s supporters – who have officially declared their support for the current mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB).
HOW WAS THE ACT
The demonstration on Paulista Avenue was organized by Malafaia, from Advec (Assembly of God Victory in Christ). Poder360he said that, with his own resources, he rented 2 electric trios to accommodate the authorities present.
At the event, which started around 2pm and lasted until the end of Bolsonaro’s speech (4:17pm), names such as deputies spoke Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO) and Julia Zanatta (PL-SC). Senator Magno Malta (PL-ES) and the governor of São Paulo, Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans).
Nunes had a discreet presence. He did not speak and had no space in the trio. His opponent in the dispute and in the right field, Pablo Marcal (PRTB), was prevented from going up with those present. With no space, he walked through the crowd and was mobbed by those present.
