Lynked: Banner of the Spark Announced with Trailer and Steam Release Date during the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2024: it is a cooperative action game that will debut on the Valve platform in early access on October 22.
In the game we will take on the role of a member of the resistance against the Combots, dangerous robots determined to destroy the world: to stop them we will have to coordinate our actions with other users and try our hand at fun hack & slash mechanics enriched with roguelike elements.
We will be able to expand our cityupgrade weapons and skills based on the resources obtained at the end of each mission, unlock bot allies and even participate in activities such as fishing or farming in order to grow the settlement we have created.
Does the cartoon style still work?
The cartoonish style adopted by Lynked: Banner of the Spark is similar to that of Fortnite, which still dominates the ranking of the most played titles: is this a sensible approach? We will find out in October, when there will be Steam Early Access Debut.
For now there is no doubt that FuzzyBot’s project has colour and vivacity to spare, as well as a certain potential when it comes to organising frenetic cooperative clashes against the huge bosses which will characterize the campaign.
In short, what the developers of ynked: Banner of the Spark have put on the table seems like a curious and varied mix, made up of many different elements, which will be interesting to check out first-hand as soon as we have the chance: we’ll see.
