Paris Saint-Germain tried everything to sign Nico Williams. The Spanish international has reportedly received a huge salary offer from the capital club to join Paris, according to sources. Marca, which would have doubled the salary he receives from the Basques.
His annual net paycheck would be five million euros in Bilbao and would have increased to 10 with his incorporation to PSG.
Despite this sensational offer, Williams would have preferred to stay one more season at his Basque club rather than sign for Paris. FC Barcelona was his priority but the Catalan club would not have managed to raise the necessary sum for his transfer this summer. The novel would be postponed until the summer of 2025.
