The talented actress, unfortunately, passed away after a short battle. The actress passed away at her home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Monday, August 5.

Confirming the sad news was her agent Kyle Fritz, who said in a statement to ‘Variety’: “Patti was my first client when I started out more than 30 years ago. We shared so many joyful moments on set and I will miss her spirit, her acting ability and her determination, but most of all her precious friendship.” The actress, who is not yet advanced in age, bids farewell to the world of cinema and his fans too soon.

Born in Los Angeles in 1953, Patti Yasutake spent her childhood and adolescence in Gardena and Inglewood. She later graduated with honors in theater at the University of California at Los Angeles. After demonstrating his talent in some theatrical productions, he chose to launch his television career in 1985. Shortly after, in fact, he obtained a role in the American police series T.J. Hooker.
