The warmth of the Brazilian crowd, who returned to welcome a FIA WEC race ten years after their last appearance, and the atmosphere of a unique track like Interlagos provide the backdrop for the new episode of “Full Access: The Red Line”, available on the Ferrari YouTube channel, which focuses on the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.
The fifth round of the World Endurance Championship, which took place on July 14 – less than a month after the historic success at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the second consecutive for the Prancing Horse – ended with the 499Ps numbers 51 and 50 of the Ferrari – AF Corse team in fifth and sixth position, respectively with Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi, and Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen.
The only round of the season held in South America also saw the Le Mans Hypercar number 83, entered by the AF Corse team, take second place in the independent teams standings thanks to the 11th overall placing of official Ferrari drivers Yifei Ye and Robert Shwartzman, teamed with Robert Kubica.
As per tradition, “Full Access: The Red Line” allows the public to discover the behind the scenes of the world championship commitment, going well beyond the activity on the track.
From the team’s arrival in Brazil to the drivers’ discussions with managers, the briefings with technicians and the meetings with Ferrari fans, the fifth episode of the docu-series allows you to relive the emotions of a round that had as its stage the spectacular setting of 73,205 spectators who attended the event over the course of the weekend.
