European stocks attempt to bounce but close mixed
After attempting to rebound this morning by opening in positive territory after yesterday’s deep red, European stock markets closed mixed. The Frankfurt Dax gained 0.13%, closing at 17,339.35 points. London also closed in positive territory, with a +0.18%, at 8,022.57 points. The Paris Cac closed in the red, with a -0.27%, at 7,130.04 points. Piazza Affari also failed to recover completely, recording a -0.60%, at 31,109 points
Milan Stock Exchange: closes at -0.60% after attempted rebound
The Milan Stock Exchange attempts to rebound after two disastrous sessions in the wake of fears of a possible US recession but closes in the red, limiting losses at the end to -0.60% with 31,107.13 points. Among the blue chips, Mps is flying (+8.69%) after the accounts that show a strong financial improvement with the half-year profit rising by 87% and revenues by 9.7%. Nexi (+2.48%), Tim (+0.57%) and Iveco (+2.05%) also did well. Luxury is down with Ferrari (-1.52%), Brunello Cucinelli (-1.04%), among industrialists Pirelli is down 1.70%.
