The dynamic development of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale continues. The limited edition supercar from Biscione, a tribute to the brand’s past and the brand’s return to the super sports car scene, it’s already sold out with wealthy enthusiasts who are waiting for the delivery of their respective models. During a test drive phase on the road by the engineers of the Arese car manufacturer, it was possible to capture the sound of the engine 620 HP V6 of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, with a video published by the brand on social media that offers enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the song of this six-cylinder.
Exterior styling
The exterior design of this exclusive supercar (which we show you above in a close-up preview) is enhanced by the perfect balance between proportions, volumes and surface treatment. The front end features a powerful and muscular volume, on which the iconic shield and the complex-shaped light clusters on an elliptical base stand out, while the side line is dynamic and sleek, with “elytron”-opening doors and two large side air intakes. Returning for a moment to the doors, thanks to their angled opening and the large wraparound glass roof, the driver can enjoy a view very similar to that experienced in the cabin of a jet. The rear is defined by Alfa Romeo itself as “brutal”, due to the truncated tail, the “V” graphics and the round rear lights. The aerodynamic efficiency of the new 33 Stradale is confirmed by a Cx of 0.375 to zero Czby precise choice without the aid of active systems.
Engine options of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
The new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale can be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine with over 620 HP or, alternatively, in BEV configuration with over 750 HP. Performance is excellent in both versions: we are talking about a maximum speed of 333 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. The sportiness of this supercar is enhanced, in addition to the performance just mentioned, by the double wishbone suspension with active shock absorbers, the front axle lift, the Alfa Romeo Brake-By-Wire braking system and the Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. From a performance point of view mechanical and productionalso worthy of mention are the aluminum H-frame, the carbon fiber monocoque, the carbon fiber and aluminum roof, and the polycarbonate rear window. A little gem revealed by Alfa Romeo: the car’s set up will see the support of F1 driver Valtteri Bottas on the legendary Balocco track.
Sporty interiors
As for the interior, the passenger compartment can be configured by choosing between two different trims, “Tributo” and “Alfa Corse”. In front of the driver is a display that stands out for the three-dimensionality of the “telescope” applied to it, while what is interesting is the choice of the Arese brand in terms of physical buttons: few controls useful for driving that find space on the central console, the steering wheel is even devoid of all the buttons normally placed there. The dashboard and the central tunnel are inspired by aviation and use materials such as aluminum, carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara, while the enveloping seats are upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather.
