Today, Xbox shared details of its packed Gamescom 2024 program in a press release. This year, the Xbox booth will feature more than 50 titles from Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard, Bethesda, and third-party partners, spread across more than 240 gaming stations. Xbox will also provide press and attendees in Cologne with specially-built rooms to preview exclusive upcoming titles.
Attendees will be able to try out upcoming Xbox releases, including Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Towerborne, Fallout 76: Milepost Zero, Age of Mythology: Retold and more. Additionally, there will be previews of titles such as Avowed, Indiana Jones, Great Circle and Starfield: Shattered Space. You can play third-party partner titles including Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws, Studio Wildcard’s ARK 2, Saber Interactive’s Space Marine 2, Rebellion’s Atomfall and witness the return of GSC Game World’s STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl with an all-new demo.
The Indie Selects section, dedicated to various upcoming titles from independent developers, will host games such as Squirrel with a Gun from Maximum Entertainment, Winter Burrow from Noodlecake, Creatures of Ava from 11 bit Studios and many more.
For those who cannot be in Cologne, It will be possible to follow the fair thanks to a series of daily streams broadcast from the Xbox stand. Team Xbox will be online on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for a deeper dive into some of Gamescom 2024’s most anticipated games, with gameplay previews, developer chats, new trailers, and more. The Bethesda team will also be broadcasting daily content live from the booth on their Twitch channel: twitch.tv/bethesda_de. To open Gamescom, There will also be a special community event on Wednesday night: the Xbox FanFest.
