Pilgrims of the Holy House of God flocked, on Saturday, to Nimra Mosque to listen to Arafa’s sermon and perform the noon and afternoon prayers, combined and shortened.
Sheikh Maher Al-Muaiqly added: “In Arafa, you are in a great situation in which God brags about you to His angels. This is an honorable home and a virtuous time in which good deeds are multiplied, bad deeds are forgiven, and ranks are raised.”
He continued: “Hajj is a manifestation of the ritual and sincerity in worshiping God, and it is not a place for political slogans or partisanship, which requires adherence to the regulations and instructions that ensure that pilgrims perform their rites and rituals in security and reassurance.”
Sheikh Al-Muaiqli stressed that: “Every believer must strive to preserve the five necessities, which leads to the safety of creation, the stability of life, the spread of security, and the ability of people to achieve their religious and worldly interests, and he must cooperate with others in this in order to draw closer to God and seek His reward in the afterlife. …And every Muslim must not enable frivolous people to try to influence the purposes of Sharia law in preserving these necessities.”
The sermon stated: “The wise law affirmed the necessity of preserving the five necessities that the laws agreed to take care of, which are the preservation of religion, life, mind, money, and honor. Rather, the law considered transgressing them to be a crime that would be a reason for punishment.”
She explained that: “Sharia came with everything through which life flourishes and development is achieved, and it prevents harming or causing harm to others, and it enjoins justice and virtuous morals, honoring one’s parents, maintaining ties of kinship, speaking truthfully, preserving rights while delivering them to their rightful owners, performing trusts, and loyalty.” By contracts, covenants, listening, and obedience to those in charge.”
He also stressed that: “From the clear starting points, the blessed Sharia came to achieve interests and increase them and prevent or reduce evils, and it decided that warding off evils takes precedence over achieving interests. It also came with achieving the highest interests even by neglecting the lowest ones, and committing the two lowest evils in order to ward off the higher ones.”
