Tragedy on the beaches of Ladispoli: a 62-year-old woman, a teacher, was found dead in Torre Flavia and the friend who was with her is in hospital
On today’s unfortunate day, June 13th, in Torre Flavia, Ladispoli, a sixty-two year old woman died, the victim of an accident at sea which dragged her onto the rocks, causing a fatal wound to her head. The woman was a teacher, whose identity was not disclosed. She was in the water with a friend when she was caught by the current and she lost her life instantly.
The police who intervened on the scene identified the victim and began investigations to better understand the dynamics of the accident. The immediate intervention of the Local Police and Fire Brigade agents who activated the rescue machine was fundamental. The surviving woman, a colleague of the unfortunate sixty-two-year-old, was promptly transported to hospital, but her life is not in danger. According to initial reconstructions, the deceased did not know how to swim and she found herself helpless in the face of the impetuosity of the currents.

While awaiting the results of the autopsy and further ongoing investigations, the city of Ladispoli mourns the loss of a woman loved and respected in the community, who leaves an unbridgeable void among family, friends and work colleagues.
