Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero reveals its game modes

Since its original announcement, Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero has become the most anticipated anime title of recent times, given that the franchise of Budokai Tenkaichiand that emotion has been reflected in fans who want to use their favorite characters from the anime created by Akira Toriyama. And now that the release date of the title has been confirmed, a new video has been released, in which they confirm the game modes that we can try when it arrives on consoles and computer.

First they tell us about Episode Battle, single-player mode in which users can choose from 8 characters and relive some of the key battles from the start of the Saiyan invasion to the Super Power Tournament. Users will experience scenes from a first-person point of view and make decisions that will cause them to play in alternative scenarios at certain key moments that can completely change the course of the story.

They also let us see the Custom Battle, which adds a new element, where users can try their luck in a combat imagined by the developers or create their own scenario. It goes without saying that it will include an offline multiplayer mode, which will allow veterans and novices to experiment with the different characters, a certain amount is expected with the base game, and then some extras will be released such as Aralesince she originally arrived in the last installment of Budokai Tenkaichi.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft, the creators of the original BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO takes the series into a new era by harnessing the power of the Unreal Engine 5 and pushing the boundaries of gameplay and features of a fighting game. The game returns the franchise to its original Japanese nomenclature, as the first DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI was titled DRAGON BALL Z: Sparking! The game’s gravity-defying combat captures the destructive powers and Ki abilities characteristic of each DRAGON BALL character, displayed in stunning detail and with damage capable of destroying entire sections of the arena.
