Epic Games Store has revealed what next week’s free game will be: LEGO Builder’s Journey. It will be unlocked on Thursday, June 20th at 5pm ET, and will be redeemable until the following Thursday, June 27th, when another game will presumably be given away.
LEGO Builder’s Journey is basically a LEGO themed puzzle game, which received enthusiastic reviews from critics and audiences. It also won the mobile game of the year award at the 2020 Golden Joystick Awards. In short, it’s a really nice gift.
The game
As mentioned, LEGO Builder’s Journey is a geometric puzzle game in which we have to solve the proposed puzzles using LEGO pieces, sometimes following what is asked, other times doing our own thing. It’s a title relaxing in its own way, which gives the player plenty of time to experiment to find the solution to the proposed challenges. All with a pleasant and evocative graphic style.
However, if you don’t want to have the pressure of puzzles, it is possible play in Creative Mode, which allows you to choose a theme and do whatever you want. “Build a race car, a pirate ship or a new game scene.” The official description reads, which then invites you to use Photo Mode to share your creations with friends.
