Today, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met in Bratislava with His Excellency Robert Kalinac, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic, in the presence of His Excellency Juraj Planar, Slovak Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, which was held within the framework of His Highness’s working visit to the Slovak Republic, bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation in several fields, including economic, trade, investment and energy, were discussed.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his sincere wishes to His Excellency Robert Fico, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, for a full recovery and good health.
His Highness and His Excellency Robert Kalinac also discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, and discussed all current developments at the regional and international levels and in the Middle East region.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his happiness at visiting the friendly Republic of Slovakia, stressing the common interest in laying solid foundations for fruitful and sustainable cooperation between the two countries in various sectors in a way that supports their endeavors to achieve comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.
His Highness pointed out that the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Slovak Republic are witnessing continuous growth and development, and there is a common desire and will to strengthen them in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and brings goodness to their people, expressing his wishes for Slovakia and its people continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Commercial Affairs, and Hamad Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Austria and non-resident UAE Ambassador to Slovakia.
