Moskalkova: over 6 thousand SVO participants were fired for family reasons
More than six thousand participants in the special military operation (SVO) were dismissed from service for family reasons. This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova, writes Life.ru.
“Currently, based on the presidential decree [России Владимира Путина] this issue is resolved by certification commissions at the commissariats, which individually consider these issues,” said Moskalkova.
According to her, dismissal is one of the main problems faced by SVO participants. The scale of values on this issue takes into account different circumstances, the Ombudsman said, clarifying that among them, for example, the appearance of a disabled child, the need to care for parents or the death of a wife. Each individual situation is a dispute of arguments, motives and reasons, the ombudsman added.
Previously, Moskalkova reported that female prisoners began to apply for SVO in Ukraine. The Ombudsman began to receive isolated requests on this issue. At the same time, not a single woman, as the Ombudsman emphasized, has been sent from the colony to the combat zone.
