New Big Houses.- Last night, the representatives of the National Action Party (PAN) who made up the “Let’s Defend Chihuahua” coalition made up of the PAN-PRI-PRD headed by Pedro José García Valenzuela, “Pichía”, filed an appeal to initiate a non-conformity trial against the electoral results of Nuevo Casas Grandes, for pointing out various irregularities.
It was at 11:40 at night that the legal representatives of AN presented the appeal to the Municipal Electoral Assembly (AME) of the State Electoral Institute (IEE), waiting for the letter to be handed over to the competent authorities.
The letter states that “During the last electoral process we experienced violations of its guiding principles. These violations cannot be overlooked, since they damage our democracy and affect the credibility of our electoral system among citizens.”
Thus, through its representatives before the AME, the document was presented to begin the non-compliance trial.
“Under the firm democratic conviction of defending the democratic values that have characterized the National Action Party since its birth, we will continue to point out and seek to enforce the principles that govern our democracy,” the statement said.
