A Moscow court arrested in absentia a sniper from Georgia, Ivaneishvili, serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested in absentia a serviceman of the Georgian National Legion, Rusudan Ivaneishvili, who is participating in hostilities against Russia on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by TASS with a link to the court’s electronic database.
“The investigation’s request for the arrest of R. Ivaneishvili in absentia was granted on June 11, 2024,” the electronic file reports.
Snapeirsha was charged in absentia under Part 3 of Art. 359 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “Participation of a mercenary in an armed conflict.” On June 11, Luadahi K., Elkava T., Mullera M., who were accused of mercenarism, were also arrested in absentia.
Ivaneishvili was born on January 25, 1995 in Gelati, Tkibul Municipality, Imereti, Georgia. After graduating from school, she enlisted in the Georgian armed forces and underwent sniper training. According to open sources, the girl participated in the NATO Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan in 2016.
