The Russian company Stratim has created the Sparrow reconnaissance drone, an analogue of the Mavic copter
The Russian company Stratim has created the Sparrow reconnaissance drone, capable of replacing the Chinese Mavic copter, which is popular at the front. This was announced by a representative of the developer, reports RIA News.
The compact folding device is designed for reconnaissance and fire adjustment. In terms of functionality, it is similar to the Mavic UAVs that are widely used in the NVO zone by both sides, has similar characteristics, and operates using a control panel.
The developer pointed out an important advantage of the Russian drone: it operates on a non-commercial frequency, which is poorly suppressed by Ukrainian electronic warfare systems. Mavic’s frequencies are known and do not change, a company representative added.
The Sparrow ground station is connected to a neural network, which allows the drone operator to recognize targets, for example, armored vehicles, artillery, infantry, vehicles and others.
Earlier it was reported that the Penza branch of the Military Academy of Logistics (VAMTO) began the development and production of ammunition release systems for FPV drones and quadcopters.
