The Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky submarine returned to its home base after service
The Project 636.3 submarine of the Pacific Fleet (PF) Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky returned to its permanent base in Vladivostok after completing its combat service missions. This was reported by the press service of the Pacific Fleet, reports TASS.
The submariners were met by the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Viktor Liina, the personnel of the formation and relatives of the crew members. The commander congratulated the crew on their successful performance of duty. The period of combat service was more than 30 days.
“Dear comrades, you have successfully completed your combat missions. Preliminary assessments and actions of the mock enemy show that you carried out tasks in the most difficult area covertly throughout the entire period,” the press service quotes the admiral as saying.
