An armed attack occurred during the night of Monday on Flores Magón Street, in the Central Zone of TijuanaBaja California outside the known Tropics Bar, According to some witnesses, the bullets were aimed at the security guard there.
According to the authorities, it was around 8:30 p.m. when the victim, identified by the name of Hugo “N”, 33 years old, was attacked with bullets, resulting in injuries to the chest, arm and abdomen, for which he had to be sent to a hospital for medical attention.
Witnesses to the armed attack notified the authorities who minutes later arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
Elements of the National Guard, Mexican Army and Municipal Police, as well as Red Cross paramedics, who were in charge of giving first aid to Hugo “N” and later transferring him to a nearby hospital.
The victim was said to be in poor health.
After a search operation, a person was captured while trying to escape towards Constitución, in the city of Tijuana Baja California.
