In England a woman destroyed a phone shop and threatened the employees because they did not give her a refund for a cell phone purchased three months earlier
They say that the customer is always right but in most cases this is just a figure of speech. The example comes from a 19-year-old English girl who showed up at a hospital last Sunday phone shop to request a refund for a smartphone purchased three months previously. The employees pointed out to her that the period to exercise the right of withdrawal had now expired and that there were no conditions for returning the money. In response, she destroyed what she had on hand and threatened the staff.
“He wanted a refund for a phone he bought three months earlier. The phone was new when he bought it, and he wanted a refund because he ‘needed money to buy something’,” said an employee who stressed that she couldn’t grant her what she asked for also because the phone was working perfectly. When asked to exchange it for something else in the shop or sell it at a lower price, she “went crazy”.
After damaging the shop he argued first with an elderly woman and then with someone in a wheelchair. The whole thing was filmed by passers-by. “I hope your mom gets raped,” she allegedly yelled at a store employee. Eventually the police intervened and arrested the young woman.
