Since yesterday new news regarding Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater have come to light, given that in the event of Xbox We had a new trailer, in which they directly confirm how much work has been done on the project and the use of Unreal Engine 5 to give it shape. The physical collector’s editions that there will be have also been shown, indicating that the official launch date of the same would be shortly to be announced by Konami.
While there are more official details, comparisons were not going to be missing, and channels like Analista de Bits took the scenes from the new trailer and have put them one by one with the versions of Playstation 2 remastered on a computer, which makes a noticeable change visible. Added to that are some changes in perspectives, which are something totally new from the remake developed by Virtuos.
Here the video:
Something that should be mentioned regarding the title is that Konami decided that it would be a remake mostly focused on the graphic part, since they do not want to modify the narrative created by Hideo Kojima, although it could be that new details are shown in the gameplay part. The absence of any change in the story means that the voice lines of the characters do not have to be rerecorded, since it seems that they will use and improve the quality of the originals, but they would still pay royalties to the actors such as David Hayter.
Remember that Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater will come to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It is rumored that it will arrive on November 17 this year, but that remains to be confirmed.

Author’s note: It’s definitely a big change after almost 20 years since the release of the original. And if it comes out on the rumored date, it may be to celebrate the anniversary.
