New appointments at the helm of Isotta Fraschini who seeks to broaden her horizons especially from the point of view of commercial influence. The Italian brand in fact intends to concentrate with great attention on some strategic markets such as the Far East, the Middle East and North America and for this purpose has announced new entries into the company’s Board of Directors. Starting from the Spaniard Miguel Valldecabres, who will be the new CEO, and the Italian-American Sandro Bortesi who will instead take on the role of General Manager.

The new appointments were also an opportunity to thank Enzo Pannacci for his work in the role of CEO of Isotta Fraschini, brought to compete in the 2024 World Endurance Championship thanks to the Tipo 6 LMH Competizione hypercar in line with the company’s plans, a commitment which next weekend will see the brand busy on the French Sarthe circuit to race the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Miguel Valdecabres is a well-known name in the world of mobility and motoring, as he became involved in Campos Racing as CFO immediately after obtaining his degree in Economics and a master’s degree from the University of Southampton (UK). His subsequent 5-year commitment to PwC as a Senior Auditor provided him with business knowledge, which he used to start his first business venture Chic-Kles. He was a co-founder and board member of FIA Formula E. He founded QEV Technologies, an engineering company specializing in the field of electric mobility and in late 2020, he became CEO at Ev Dynamics, producing electric buses and vans in Hong Kong.

For his part, Sandro Bortesi is a finance professional, with over 30 years of experience in global strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and operations. He has advised funds, corporates and blue-chip investors in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, working across sectors including telecommunications, media, private equity, motorsports, automotive and real estate. In his experience in the motorsport and sports car sector, he was the founder and managing partner of Racing Masters, a testing center based in Spain and consultant to McLaren Spain: “I am extremely honored to have earned the trust of Giuliano Michelotto, Alessandro Fassina and the Isotta Fraschini Board of Directors to support the group as together we plan and realize a successful future for this historic brand.
