Spain has revealed the numbers that each of the 26 players called up by Luis de la Fuente will wear to compete in Euro 2024.
La Roja is among the candidates to go far in the tournament and it would not be a surprise if it ends up being crowned champion in Germany. For now, Spain has started preparation for the tournament on the right foot after beating Andorra 5-0 in the first friendly, and tonight they will face Northern Ireland in the last match before the Euro Cup begins.
On Friday, the Spanish national coach, Luis de la Fuente, confirmed the official list of the 26 players who will be in Germany and we have also known the number that each of them will wear during the tournament.
A choice of numbers in which there are few surprises and where the heavyweights will continue wearing their usual numbers. Unai Simón, as usual, did not want to carry the 1 on his back and although he will be the starting goalkeeper during the tournament, he continues to opt for the number 23. Álvaro Morata, despite being the 9 of the team, always opts for the 7 , so the 9 has gone to Joselu.
The youngest players, some of them having entered a squad for the first time like Fermín López or Ayoze Pérez, have been left with the highest numbers.
