David Ospina, focused on the National Team, but thinks about his future: ‘Nacional is a great opportunity’

After overcoming a long injury, Ospina finished his season with Al Nassr in Arabia with activity and with that continuity he reaches the National Team.

The goalkeeper is focused on the National Team, while he decides what his sporting future will be and if he finally reaches Atlético Nacional, the team of his heart and with which he is in talks to return.

In a press conference, the goalkeeper referred to his return to the Colombian National Team and the option of joining the purslane team.

Messi sees an even Cup: ​”I agree with Messi. It is going to be an intense Copa América, very hard-fought, the teams are preparing well, there are going to be important teams, we are preparing in the best way to achieve the goal set.”

Present: “​I feel motivated after a complex injury. I ended up playing with Al Nassr, with continuity and happiness. Now I am happy to put what I can give to the benefit of the National Team.”

Copa América experience: ​”I would think that there are already 4 or 5 Cups, remembering that I couldn’t in Argentina 2011 due to a nose injury. But I’m happy, taking advantage. It’s a pride to represent my country.”

New archers: “It is beneficial for the National Team to have options and for more goalkeepers to come doing well like Aldair and Marmolejo, worthy finalists of the League. May the best win.”

Falcao to Millos: ​”Falcao is a reference for us. A person I love very much. I wish him the best. These are personal decisions and with his family and with his intelligence he will make the best decision.”

Ospina and National: “For my part, I am focused on the national team, I will have time to sit down and make the decision for the future. Many factors are considered but Nacional is the team of which I am a fan, the one that made me known outside. It is a great opportunity, let’s wait and see what happens.”
