The Summer Game Fest is upon us and with its Showcase there will be the opportunity to see new games and well-known titles. For example, lovers of fantasy and role-playing games would like to finally see it in action Dragon Age Dreadwolf. It will be like this? According to sources, both yes and no.
I’m the one talking Jeff GrubbGiantBomb journalist, during a Kinda Funny podcast e Jason SchreierBloomberg reporter, via ResetEra.
What can we expect from Dragon Age?
The speech made by Jeff Grubb is as follows: Dragon Age Dreadwolf will be atXbox Games Showcase, but at the same time it won’t be there. How is it possible? The meaning is that the next chapter of the BioWare saga will be present at the Microsoft event, but simply with a different name. Technically Dreadwolf won’t be there, but the game will.
Schreier – who we can consider a safer source than Grubb and who, more importantly, doesn’t beat around the bush – commented on the issue via ResetEra confirming that what the other journalist means is that Dragon Age has changed name. Bloomberg’s signing confirms that we shouldn’t expect another game.
Of course, this doesn’t tell us what the actual name of the role-playing video game is. “Dreadwolf” is an excellent subtitle on a narrative level, but it is possible that BioWare thinks that many players have no idea what it means and prefer to use a simpler name and make it clear that it is a sequel to the previous chapters, although already with Inquisition had discontinued the numbering.
In any case, we will just have to wait a few days to find out everything in detail. These aren’t even the first rumors about Dragon Age’s presence at this week’s events.
