The poisoned townspeople were hospitalized. The publication does not provide accurate information about the condition of the patients. Earlier on Lake Baikal, five people were poisoned by carbon monoxide on a boat. They were found in the area of Cape Tonkiy. None of them could be saved, and a criminal case was opened into the mass deportation. It is unknown whether there were other passengers on board.
