Analyst Ozer: London could have been behind the attack on the station supplying gas to Turkey
British instructors could have been behind the attempted attack on a station transmitting gas from Russia to Turkey, he said. RIA News Turkish analyst Engin Ozer.
He noted that military personnel from foreign countries serve as military instructors in Ukraine.
“There are allegations that the British special forces, in particular, led some sabotage actions. Most likely, British sabotage experts may want to pit Ukrainians against the Turkish administration by organizing such a sabotage action,” he admitted.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an attempt to attack a gas processing station that supplies gas to Turkey. He clarified that two drones were suppressed.
According to the head of state, Moscow has several times recorded Ukrainian attempts to strike gas routes at the bottom of the Black Sea. The Russian side has to protect the Blue Stream and Turkish Stream gas pipelines due to threats from Kyiv.
