The Israeli Embassy in Argentina released this Tuesday on its social networks a shocking audio from Israel’s Channel12, recorded in the moment when Argentine David Cunio, his wife and two young daughters, were kidnapped on October 7 at the Nir Oz kibbutz by Hamas terrorists.
In the recording, apparently a call to the emergency service, you hear how the entire family was kidnapped while their house was burned: the father, the mother, and their two 3-year-old daughters.
“We are suffocating to death. “There are terrorists outside the house”a woman’s voice is heard, apparently Sharon Alony Cunio, the Argentine’s wife. “Mom, don’t die,” says one of the two 3-year-old twins, and then you can hear her coughing, perhaps suffocating from the smoke.

The Channel 12 video uploaded on Instagram includes images of the family home burned down in the kibbutz, and the testimony of Sharon Cunio, now free.
“It eats your heart when you see complete families, and the three of us without him. Only when he comes back will he get better. We will improve. But let him come back now,” the woman asks.
Today David Cunio turns 34 years old.

“We assess that the four died while they were together in the Khan Younis area, during our operation there against Hamas,” declared their military spokesman Daniel Hagari.
And it is that Israel maintains its operations in the Strip while negotiations with Hamas on the direction of the war take place, with the ceasefire as a red line for both sides – for Netanyahu, an impossible until the Islamist organization is destroyed and, for it, an essential condition to free the hostages.
On Friday, Biden had revealed a three-phase plan to end the conflict, free the hostages and rebuild the Palestinian territory without the presence in power of Hamas, which has ruled the enclave since 2007.
Although the US president attributed the initiative to Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stressed that the draft presented was “partial” and said that they would continue their offensive until they achieved “all their objectives.”
In Gaza, there are already 36,550 dead in Gaza and 82,959 injured, the majority (around 70%) women and children, since Israel launched its offensive after the October 7 attacks.

The center of the Strip, in Deir al Balah, and the north, in Gaza City, were affected throughout Monday night and Tuesday morning by a series of bombings and raids by the military that ended the lives of at least ten people and caused more than twenty injuries.
In Deir al Balah, one of the territories in which tens of thousands of refugees are crowded after fleeing Rafah (south) due to the Israeli military operation in the city, the Army launched an air attack against the vicinity of an evacuee center, killing seven people.
More than 1.7 million people – more than two-thirds of Gazans – are overcrowded as a result of Army operations in Rafah in an area of just 69 square kilometers, the NGO Oxfam denounced this Monday in a report.
The beaches of Al Mawasi, west of Rafah, Deir al Balah and Khan Yunis, in central Gaza, have also become a hive of tents that humanitarian aid agencies constantly denounce as areas not safe or authorized to host refugees.
