Vantaa A store located in Rajatorpa was robbed last week Thursday by threatening with a bladed weapon. The suspected perpetrator also verbally threatened the store’s salesperson, says the Itä-Uudenmaa police department in its press release.
The suspect had entered the store on Thursday evening at around 19:50.
“The suspected perpetrator had entered the store, walked to the cash register after a while and demanded money by threatening him with a bladed weapon. After the act, the man had left the store,” says the crime commissioner Emmi Lintula in the bulletin.
According to the witness, the suspect had possibly also visited the store earlier on the same day. At that time, the man had been in a party of four, which included two young women and one young man in addition to the suspect.
The suspected perpetrator is young, approximately 165-170 cm tall and has dark hair, dark eyes and a moustache, but no beard. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a dark hoodie and black Adidas sweatpants.
