The Emirates School Education Foundation announced the academic calendar for the 2024-2025 academic year, which includes the timetable for the three semesters, exam dates, holidays, and official vacations for students and teachers in government schools.
The next academic year begins with the start of work for educational and administrative staff for all academic levels on Monday, August 19, 2024, where they will begin their work with a professional development week that aims to develop the skills and competencies of educational field staff, while a professional development week will be organized at the beginning of each new semester. The number of school days for the next academic year will be 185 days, and students’ classes at all levels of study will begin on Monday, August 26, 2024.
According to the academic calendar, the final exam period for the first semester will be from November 27 to December 12, 2024, and the results will be analyzed and issued in the period from January 13 to 17, 2025.
The final exam period for the second semester will be from March 10 to 19, 2025, and its results will be announced in the period from April 21 to 25, 2025.
