F1: ‘The future is bright here’: ‘Checo’ Pérez after announcing his renewal with Red Bull

Red Bull Racing confirmed the renewal of Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez prior to the Canadian Grand Prix. The Mexican driver will remain in the team until the end of 2026which indicates that he will race in Formula 1 for the next two years. Likewise, the man from Guadalajara said he was very happy to receive this opportunity to fight to make history with the Austrians.

“I am very happy to commit my future to this great team, it is a challenge like no other race for Oracle Red Bull Racing, both on and off the track,” said Checo in an interview for Red Bull. He also stressed that all the work is done together, so he thanks everyone for their help.

“I want to thank everyone for all the trust they are placing in me, it is a lot and I want to return it with excellent results on and off the track. I think we have a lot of work to do, we have many more championships to win together,” added Checo Pérez.

To conclude his statements, the Mexican revealed that he has very well defined where he is and that he is excited to be on the track with them in search of achieving a historic result. “I am delighted to stay here to continue our journey together and contribute to the great story of this Team for two more years.
