The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat called on citizens and residents to protect their sons and daughters from digital platforms that teach the Holy Quran without a license. The authority stressed that state legislation prohibits unlicensed persons from practicing any activity in religious education or teaching the Holy Qur’an, its recitation and recitation, in order to ensure proper education and intellectual fortification for generations. She indicated that she had observed many unqualified and unlicensed people targeting our sons and daughters under promotional propaganda to teach the Holy Quran and correct pronunciation for children. The authority warned that such practices expose violators of the state’s laws to severe legal penalties and sanctions, and called on parents not to respond to these promotional advertisements and to ensure their children’s education through licensed Quranic centers.
