After the launch of EA Sports FC 24, it is clear that the video game industry currently has room for a direct competitor to this football simulator. Although there are not many details at the moment, the FIFA has confirmed that a new installment in its series is already in development thanks to one of its partners.
During a meeting that took place a few days ago, Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, confirmed that a new game in the football simulator that bears his name is already in development. This is what he said about it:
“When they play the football simulation game, they play FIFA. You can’t give it another name.
We will develop a new e-game, because the simulation in football is called FIFA. For hundreds of millions of children around the world, when they play a simulator, they play FIFA. It can’t be called anything else.
We are developing a new game with new partners, who obviously, like everything we do, will be the best. Get ready for a new FIFA video game.”

Unfortunately, At the moment it is unknown who will be the studio in charge of this project.. Rumors have indicated that 2K will take the reins of the property, with Visual Concepts handling primary development. Considering that Summer Game Fest and summer events are just a few days away, it seems like we could have this information at any moment. In related topics, new details emerge about the new FIFA. Likewise, it seems that 2K has already obtained this license.
Author’s Note:
At this point, 2K or FIFA should confirm or deny all rumors and leaks that point to their collaboration. Although this is almost a fact, it seems that there are still a couple of obstacles that must be overcome to make this a reality.
