Clemente Russo and the evolution of fitness, here is the training of the future
After 4 years of constant growth, AKUIS, the company that brought Sintesi’s innovation to the personal training and functional preparation market for sport, launches two new products at RiminiWellness 2024: Stadia Duo and Stadia Quattro, designed this time for the gym segment.
Presented in the South Hall of the Fair dedicated to Fitness, the new products take the Sintesi concept, that is, the digital loads and the clean and minimalist design, and lead it to a natural evolution, where the essentiality of the product is functional in making the training experience simple, engaging, unique and suitable for a large segment of the public. The name “Stadia” recalls the ancient Greek unit of measurement “στάδιον”, used for running tracks, evoking contexts of races and training. It also represents the phases of an evolutionary process and, in the technical field, the complex mechanisms of a system. Stadia symbolizes versatility and the wealth of features and possible results.
Stadia, in its configurations, was designed as an evolution of the AKUIS range with a view to usability and maximization of the gym station. Furthermore, it replaces the most common fitness equipment and simulates functional training for different sports disciplines, with a variety and completeness never before achieved by a single machine. It is not only a “space saving” product, but was also created with a view to environmental sustainability, with care and attention to design that makes it a triumph of elegance and minimalism. Sintesi and Stadia, both Made in Italy, have extremely low consumption and reduce the use of cast iron and plastic thanks to the exploitation of digital loads, the electric motor technology that allows obtaining a fluid and constant resistance without being influenced by the moment and the gravity and through which the load (up to 100kg and 2kW of power) can be varied in real time and deactivated at any time.
Clemente Russo: from cast iron to digital loads
Clemente Russo, personal trainer and entrepreneur in the world of fitness, accompanied AKUIS in this launch in Rimini. The former boxer, two-time heavyweight world champion and winner of two silver medals at the Olympics, tested himself on stage, shortly after the unveiling, in a live test of the new Stadia, commenting: “Trying this new machine is It was a truly incredible experience! The electromagnetic motor technology offers a smooth and innovative workout, which far surpasses traditional cast iron weights. I am sure that this innovation will bring us to new levels of performance and well-being, radically changing the world of fitness, not only for the user but also for the gym business. I can’t wait to see how this machine will transform daily training for everyone.”
