Sad certainty? After a search lasting several days, the missing German schoolgirl Julia H. was found dead in Argentina.
San Juan – The 19-year-old German student Julia H., who was on a student exchange in Argentina reported missing, was found dead after a five-day search. She had disappeared without a trace and there were no clues as to her whereabouts. On Monday, May 27, a female body was found in a national park near San Juan by the crew of a search helicopter. According to a report by the Argentine local newspaper El Zonda Clothing and other characteristics indicate that the dead woman is the missing student.

The last recording of Julia H. dates from Thursday, May 23, when surveillance cameras filmed her getting off a bus in El Castillito. She then made her way to the Tres Marías hill. Her cell phone sent the last signal from there at 3:34 p.m. After that, there were no further traces of the 19-year-old.

More than 100 rescue workers have been searching for the missing woman since Thursday. Her parents also traveled to Argentina to help with the search. Difficult weather conditions and uneven terrain made the search difficult.
