We are in an era in which the franchise of Call of Duty is on everyone’s lips, because as many will know by this point, the most popular shooter in the industry is now owned by Microsoft and it is not known if they will keep their word to continue making it multiplatform or if it will become a console exclusive. And now that the announcement of a new game is close, rumors have even emerged of sequels that will arrive in the coming years.
Recently the media have leaked news of two games that would already be in production, and that will continue after the installment that is launched this year, with even some key names involved, something that usually happens in the world of video games. And two different studios would be in charge of them, this to create the optimal experience in each of them.
The first of them would be neither more nor less than Call of Duty, Project Devilwoodwhich would be being worked on by the people at Infinity Ward, with the premise being in the same vein as the saga Black Ops, thus being the sixth game of this aspect of the brand. For his part he is Call of Duty, Project Anvilsame in charge of Sledgehammerand that also goes for another variant of the saga, in this case it would be Advanced Warfare.
After these mentions there is not much more on paper, it is only said that this year’s delivery will be announced at the conference of Xbox which will take place next June 9, where release dates are expected for some of its exclusives and never-before-seen revelations coming from Activision. It is even expected that they will finally confirm that many games are going to be added to Game Passlike the franchise Spyro the Dragon either Crash Bandicoot.

Author’s note: It seems that Activision will follow the same steps as always but now financed by Microsoft, this so that an annual installment of these video games is launched. We will have to wait and see if these leaks are real in the end.
