And it is no secret that a good part of the so-called “national media” and not a few local ones – press, radio, television and digital – have been subjugated by a presidential power that threatens, accuses and points out, not only journalists, but also media owners on whom it throws the full weight of the State.
For this reason –for the submission and fear of presidential power–, we see rude shows like Tercer Grado, on Televisa, where a handful of propagandists disguised as journalists appear one day as harsh questioners of Xochitl Galvez and, the next day, they are meek lambs incapable not only of questioning, but of holding their gaze.
