Cocoonone of the best indies released in recent years, will receive a special physical collector’s edition developed by iam8bitwhich is really very interesting, with release scheduled for this year.
iam8bit’s Collector’s Edition of Cocoon has been announced for Nintendo Switch and PS5and at the price of 74.99 dollars it brings together several interesting elements, among which a luminescent globe stands out, reminiscent of those visible within the game, on which the gameplay is structured.
Shipments are expected to start from the fourth quarter of 2024, so there is still time and reservations are not yet open, but in the meantime there is a official page of the iam8bit website to access to see the images and obtain information.
Let’s see the contents
At the moment, the physical edition of Cocoon is only planned for Nintendo Switch and PS5, therefore not for PC and Xbox, as often happens, given the tendency to mainly resort to digital games on these platforms.
The Collector’s Edition contains, in particular, the following elements:
- The Cocoon region free game
- A 3-inch crystal laser-etched globe, with a pedestal for activation
- Double-sided 11×17 inch poster featuring original artwork
- 5 themed round cards
- Packaging with exclusive original cover by Erwin Bho
