The Barnaul garrison military court sentenced serviceman Pavel Petrov to ten years in prison, who left his place of service without permission five times. Lenta.ru was informed about this in the 2nd Eastern District Military Court.
According to the department, for the first time Petrov did not report for duty after vacation on May 10, 2023, but on July 20 he was found at his place of residence. However, on August 4, the man did not return from dismissal again. Two weeks later he was found at home. On September 9, Petrov left his unit without permission for the third time and went home, where he was detained on September 19. The military man evaded service twice more – from September 26 to October 8 and from October 16 to November 22.
It is noted that the convict will serve his sentence in a general regime colony.
Earlier it became known that in Abakan a court sentenced a military man who strangled his ex-companion to six months in prison.
