A recent one datamining revealed the possible arrival of Red Dead Redemption on subscription services PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Passbased on a string discovered in the site’s code, referring to the Rockstar Games game.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the question seems rather explicit, even if the fact that it is hidden within the site’s code certainly does not make it clear information that should be taken at face value, for the moment.
As regards the arrival on PlayStation Plus, we are obviously talking in particular about the subscription Premiumor the highest tier, in which it will be offered within the classics catalogue, while as regards the Game Pass it seems to be a standard introduction.
The second chapter is available from today Plus Extra
In any case, we await any information from RockstarGameswhich is also always very reluctant to introduce its games into subscription services, which makes the matter even more suspicious.
It remains to be seen which version of Red Dead Redemption could be introduced in these catalogues: on PS4 the title has in fact received a new updated version including Undead Nightmare, compared to the one on PS3.
On Xbox, however, the developers simply relied on the backward compatibility of Microsoft consoles and did not publish the same updated version, leaving everything to the work done by Xbox’s processing on older titles.
At this point we await any information, considering also that Red Dead Redemption 2 was recently added to the PlayStation Plus Extra catalogue, in the package made available to subscribers today.
