One person has died and several have been injured by the “strong turbulence” recorded on a flight covering the route between London and Singapore. The problems forced the device to be diverted to Bangkok (Thailand), where it ended up landing.
On board the plane, a Boeing 777-300ER, there were 211 passengers and 18 crew members. «Singapore Airlines conveys its deep condolences to the family of the deceased. Our priority is to provide all possible assistance to passengers and crew on board,” the company said in a first statement. The company has sent a team to Thailand to facilitate this assistance.
